Once called "Ram Island", the 45 acres isle was renamed after Daniel Shea, a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient from Norwalk who died in the Vietnam War. Owned by the City of Norwalk, you can camp overnight at any of the multiple campsights. Dont forget your supplies, check with us for a list of gear to bring.
Discovered in the early 1600's by Adrian Block, the Norwalk Harbor and her beautiful Islands have long been considered "The Jewel" of Long Island Sound.
