2012 Regulator 34SS

Here’s a little background on Redemption. The vessel was originally purchased in Puerto Rico to be a tender for a much larger yacht. The vessel was craned on the larger vessel and was not subjected to the normal wear and tear of a larger tender by being towed.

When the current owner purchased the vessel, he had initial concerns about the engines, but he worked with Yamaha and the seller to gain a true picture of the engine and boat history. The vessel has approximately 780-800 hours on it in total. Yamaha replaced the ECU’s as a precaution (warrantied) after about 250 hours. All maintenance (flywheel) has been conducted and the engines have a lifetime warranty for this specific item. According to the Yamaha service bulletin, the flywheel needs to be changed after 100 hours of cumulative running in the 1500-1800 rpm range. The newer ECU keeps track of the hours of this small band and will provide an alert when the service needs to be done.

Overall the vessel was purchased as a tender and therefore needed the requisite equipment to serve as a stand alone vessel. Depth finder, etc. That work was completed to the highest standards fitting a vessel of this nature (Computer aided 3-D installation) to look like it came from the factory this way.
