Spring Commissioning Services

3. Please sign and return completed forms AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Our schedule fills up quickly and commissioning is scheduled on a “First Returned, First Reserved” basis. We cannot complete all boats by Memorial Day.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• IT IS THE OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO INSTALL DRAIN PLUG BEFORE LAUNCHING OF TRAILER BOATS.
• Existing balances must be paid in full before Rex will commission my boat.
• Commissioning work orders should be submitted as soon as possible. Commissioning reservations are assigned on a first come first served basis. We work hard to honor your selected completion date. However, delays are not uncommon due to events beyond our control. Unforeseeable problems requiring unexpected and additional labor hours or parts availability can delay commissioning. Poor weather can also delay work that is dependent upon dry and /or warmer temperatures.
• Winter Storage Contract expires April 15th. Boats and trailers not staying at Rex this summer and without a spring work order must be removed or pay storage thereafter. Completed boats not staying at Rex for the summer, must be removed within 3 days of completion of work or storage/dockage fees will apply. If you will not be able to remove your boat within 3 days from completion, please notify Rex Service, we can arrange delivery.
• Rex must have a set of keys available before scheduled work can begin, so leave a key (or cabin combination) at the Service Office. A $75.00 charge will be added if keys are not supplied and work is delayed.
• Lines & fenders of appropriate length and size must be on board for launch and will be supplied and charged to my work order if necessary.
• Shore power electrical cord is needed prior to launch if boat is equipped.
• Rex Marine is not responsible for missing/damaged personal property.
• An express mechanics lien is hereby acknowledged on my boat and /or equipment to secure the amount of repairs thereto.
• Materials, sales tax, subcontract and a 1.50% environmental compliance charge are extra and will be applied accordingly.
• I hereby authorize the work to be done with necessary material and grant Rex Marine permission to operate the boat and its systems for the purpose of testing and inspection.
